The Emmett Ranger District, on the Payette National Forest, is soliciting the purchase of seven, double locking fee tubes to replace existing/outdated fee tubes. Two levels of visitation occur at the seven day use sites where the tubes will be deployed,: Three of the day use pay sites experience high visitation and require the ability to hold up to 230 fee envelopes/week. Four sites are less visited and require the ability to hold up to 80 envelopes/week. Each of the seven fee tubes will also need to have covered fee envelope holders to accommodate the appropriate level of use and will be mounted to the tube. Envelope box/deposit box capacity should be assigned to the most appropriate stock models, to ensure enough deposit box insert combinations to accommodate anticipated deposit numbers. Each of the seven fee tubes will be installed by mounting directly to concrete and will not be buried. Each fee tube should have two access locks. The first lock should be located on the bottom of the back side of the tube, opposite from where visitors will deposit their envelopes. Additionally, all seven of the replacement fee tubes must have lockable (second lock) and removable deposit boxes for security and safety purposes. The USFS plans to purchase replacement locks once installed. The successful quote will incorporate delivery, FOB destination, to USDA-FS, 1857 Hwy 16 Suite A, Emmett, ID 83617, by 9/15/2021, although delivery dates may require further arrangement at time of award. The delivery address does have a freight ramp. If a forklift is required, delivery will be made to USDA-FS, Garden Valley Work Center, 1219 Banks Lowman Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622.
