The Rio Grande National Forest will be repairing the abutments on the bridge on National Forest Service Road (NFSR) 513.1A which is the road to Continental Reservoir located in southwest Colorado. The majority of the bridge repair work will be accomplished using Forest Service personnel and rental equipment however a crane and operator are needed to remove the existing bridge deck prior to working on the abutment repairs. The crane and operator will also be needed when the work on the abutments is complete to replace the bridge deck. Option Item: The Forest is also planning to remove the existing concrete deck from Embargo Creek Bridge located on NFSR 650. We would then immediately need the crane to place a prefabricated steel deck on the bridge. See PWS for Technical Requirement, Delivery and Location information.
