Amendment No 1 issued 7/13/2022, replace solicitation in its entireity, Submit response to evaluation/technical factors, price and reps and certs. CHANGE on July 8, 2022: Extending solicitation end date by 24 hours to Tuesday, July 12 AND changing 10 pound heavy equipment extinguishers to 20 pound heavy equipment extinguishers on attachment A-1 on page 5 of attached solicitation. The purpose of this contract action is to have all portable fire extinguishers held in facilities and vehicles operated by the White River National Forest inspected for annual OSHA standards and compliance. The Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, supervision, labor, equipment, operating supplies, transportation, and incidentals necessary to annually inspect, certify, tag, and replace as necessary approximately 190 fire extinguishers located across the White River NF. Actual quantities may vary from year to year. Upon scheduling, the contractor will travel to the designated site where all fire extinguishers will be gathered for that area in a central location. Please quote per fire exinguisher unit, not on the total number of fire extinguishers. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation.
