Quoters are advised to read the amendment and the amended solicitation before providing a quote. The purpose of this contract action is to mitigate the asbestos-containing material (ACM) identified in the attached asbestos inspection reports in preparation for demolition activities. Abatement activities will include the removal of all asbestos containing material – both friable and non-friable - from structures and other miscellaneous items. The Pitkin and Summit County landfills will not accept any ACM for disposal. All ACM must be removed from National Forest System lands for off-site disposal at a State approved disposal facility.
