The U.S. Forest Service is conducting market research via an RFI to identify vendors capable of designing, manufacturing, and delivering 45 custom outdoor-rated steel enclosures for six-character digital display units. The enclosures must provide weather and impact protection, approximate exterior dimensions of 14"H × 36"L × 12"D, 14-gauge-equivalent painted steel, NEMA Type 4/12-equivalent sealing, rear mounting feet with about 34-inch center-to-center hole spacing, a removable front cover usable as a sunshade, and an interior mounting panel. Interested vendors should provide company information, relevant manufacturing capability and past performance, technical feedback or alternatives, non-binding ROM pricing for 45 units, estimated production and delivery lead times, and product literature or photos if available. This RFI is for information and planning only and does not commit the Government to a future solicitation or award.
