This solicitation is to receive quotes for three Utility Trail Vehicles to be furnished to the Black Hills National Forest in Custer, South Dakota, to be utilized by fire personnel during all seasons in the course of working prescribed burns, pile burning, and locally during forest fires. The vehicles will be used to carry crews and necessary tools and equipment from an established base to the work location. General specifications are included in the solicitation document attached. Quotes must be submitted electronically to Patrick Delaney at patrick.delaney@usda.gov no later than 1300 hrs (1:00 PM Mountain Standard Time) on 4 February 2022. The successful bidder must be able to provide service/repair and or warranty work on the vehicles at a maintenance facility within 100 miles of Rapid City, South Dakota. When preparing your response, please make sure that you have read and followed instructions and filled out all required information in the entire document. Incomplete responses will be rejected. In addition, quotes may be rejected for failing to meet the minimum standard specifications, or failing to meet the required government cost estimate.
