The Forest Service has a requirement to repair the following: - Year 2013 - Make Navistar - Model 4400 SBA 4x2 - VIN 1HTMKAAL4DH311547 - Engine 7.6L Diesel The engine on Unit 7272 has excessive blow by caused by piston rings and valves not properly sealing. Currently the engine will go through a quart of oil a day. Diagnostics have determined the engine will need to be replaced by either a remanufacture engine or overhauled. The remedy is to overhaul the engine or install a remanufactured engine. It is unknown if the turbos will need to be replaced or not based on the engine being down and will need to be advertised in the price.
