MAL John Day Tree Cooler Maintenance
This contract is for the maintenance and repair of the glycol-based refrigeration system at the John Day Tree Cooler in John Day, Oregon. The services are required to keep the cooler operational for storing tree seedlings during the spring planting season, typically from mid-March through June. The performance location is the Forest Service compound at 150 Government Road. The contract has a maximum period of three years, with mandatory service in FY2026 and optional years in FY2027 and FY2028. The need for the optional years is unlikely, especially for FY2028, due to plans for installing a new refrigeration system.
