MAL John Day Tree Cooler Maintenance
This contract is for the maintenance and repair of a glycol-based refrigeration system, including humidity control and fans, at the John Day Tree Cooler in John Day, Oregon. The work is necessary to store tree seedlings at the proper temperature and humidity during the spring planting season, typically from mid-March through June. The performance location is the Forest Service compound at 150 Government Road. The contract has a maximum duration of three years, with mandatory service in FY2026 and optional service years in FY2027 and FY2028, though work in the third year is considered unlikely.
