SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION 1240BK21Q0130 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1240BK21Q0130 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13.5. The NAICS code is 326211. The small business size standard is 750 employees. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. This solicitation is for a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2021-06, July 12, 2021. DESCRIPTION/STATEMENT OF WORK Scope of Contract. The USDA Forest Service, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forests, requires supply, install and delivery of two truck service bodies to fit 2021 Dodge Ram 3500 Crew Cab DRW Delivery Location: FOB: Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, 3040 Biddle Road, Medford, OR 97504, located in Southern Oregon along Interstate 5 near the North Medford exit. Delivery Schedule: Contractor is responsible for pick-up and delivery of the vehicles. The Government requires delivery of the completed vehicles on or before February 28, 2022. Delivery shall be made to 3040 Biddle Rd., Medford, OR on regular working days, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Contractor shall notify the fleet manager, Kevin Fecteau 48 hours in advance of pick-up and delivery at 541-618-2168. Delivery shall be at the same time for all items unless there are delays in production due to scheduling or material acquisition. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Fleet Manager if it is necessary to make multiple deliveries. Delivery Quantities: Item 1. All warranty work shall be furnished at no cost to the Government, F.O.B. destination. Packing and Packaging Commercial: Material shall be packed for shipment in such a manner that will insure acceptance by common carrier and safe delivery at destination. Containers and closures shall comply with the Interstate Commerce Commission and Regulations, Uniform Freight Classification Rules, or Regulations of other carriers as applicable to the mode of transportation. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION DATA Invoice Processing Platform (IPP). The Forest Service is utilizing IPP for the electronic submission and tracking of contracts/purchase orders, invoices, and payment information. IPP is a secure Web-based service for federal agencies and their vendors to manage government invoicing from purchase order through payment notification at no charge.
