The US Forest Service requires services necessary to perform cleaning for the Detroit Ranger District residential buildings affected by the wildfire. The work includes: Sweep/vacuum/damp-mop all non-carpeted floors. Spot vacuum/sweep and pickup obvious dirt and debris on low traffic areas of carpeted and non-carpeted floors. Spot clean, walls, furniture, banisters and other horizontal and vertical surfaces throughout the building where evident. Wipe clean all door surfaces and door handles. Dust and wash countertops, window sills and inside windows in reception area. Clean and scour restroom and kitchen areas, sink, countertops, tables and floors. Clean and wash all windows on the inside. Empty solid waste in and adjacent to trash cans. (SHRD personnel will be responsible for managing/emptying recycled paper and aluminum can receptacles.) Damp wipe with disinfectant telephone receivers. Remove all cobwebs from walls, corners, windows, etc. Wipe and disinfect all vertical walls and horizontal surfaces, free from ash and dust. Deep clean all carpets and furniture with shampoo cleaner or steam cleaner as appropriate to remove smoke odors. Clean and disinfect all refrigerators, stoves, ovens, and dishwashers. Install HEPA air purifiers in each unit to remove any smoke odors from wildfires. Clean all window drapes or blinds Restock all restroom supplies. Clean and disinfect all restroom floors, surfaces, stall doors and fixtures. Empty all restroom trash receptacles. The Detroit Ranger Station Compound is located at 44125 Hwy 22 SE, Detroit, OR. The following are the buildings that require cleaning: Single house unit #1018, approx. 1223 sqft. Single house unit #1105, approx.. 1395 sqft. Apartments A thru H, aprox 1008 sqft. each. Duplexes I thru L, approx.. 1017 sqft each. Bunkhouses M and N, approx.. 672 sqft each. Fire Crew Office space in the Fire Warehouse, approx., 400 sqft. Quoters must ensure registration in the System for Award Management database at https://www.sam.gov prior to any contract award.
