This... THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. This notice is for the issuance of a blanket purchase agreement call request on BPA Road and Bridge Construction, 1240BH23Q0001. This project involves the construction of a new trail bridge on the Noisy Creek Trail (#588) at the crossing located approximately 1.7 miles from the trailhead. Noisy Creek Trail is a Class 3 hiker/pedestrian trail. Work includes light clearing and grubbing, excavation of existing trail for equipment passage and 50-100ft of new trail, construction of a 40’ span, 5’ wide multi-log stringer bridge with curbs, including sill and anchor system. The Forest Service anticipates enough native material located on site for log stringers, predominately cedar (pending Regional approval). Curbs and decking will be imported and composed of treated timber curbs and treated glulam planks, respectively. This is a competitive request under a previously issued BPA. We are not looking to add new contractors to the BPA at this time.
