The Heather Lake Trail is a very busy hiker-only recreation trail, ending in a loop around Heather Lake. Work includes trail tread reconstruction, crib ladder stairway installation and maintenance, turnpike installation and maintenance, installation and maintenance of various drainage structures. Aggregate Surfacing is included in the completion of trail structures (turnpike, stairways, retaining walls). Completion of structures may require blasting. Contractors will be required to have all Washington State and Federal Blasting permits and licenses.
