This proposed solicitation is for work to construct a sign base, and installation of signs onto the new base next to US Highway 20 in Santiam Pass, Oregon. The scope of work includes: recondition an existing concrete pad from the previous sign and reutilize it for the construction of the new sign base, construction of a new sign base, and installation of new signs onto the base The project is located on the border of the Willamette National Forest and the Deschutes National Forest. The Government’s estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $50,000. Estimated start work date is 1 June 2022, and contract time is 30 calendar days. Solicitation will be available for download from beta.sam.gov on or about 6/2/21. NOTE: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base when submitting an offer, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of a contract resulting from this solicitation. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system. If at the time of receipt of offers, an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
