9/2/2021 - Based on a contractor request, maps with proposed toilet locations is provided prior to the solicitation release. This will also be part of the full solicitation package scheduled to be released on 9/13/2021. This proposed solicitation is for work on the Mount Hood National Forest (Jefferson and Clackamas Counties) consisting of base items for the demolition of three existing toilets destroyed by the Riverside and Lionshead fires in September of 2020. The solicitation also contains optional items for the purchase, site preparation, and installation of up to 12 vault style concrete toilets at various campgrounds and day use areas . Including all optional items, the Government’s estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contract performance is estimated to begin April 2022. Solicitation will be available for download from sam.gov on or about 9/13/21. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system.
