The USDA Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to perform the replacement of HVAC units and all associated work, including but not limited to: Cutting and Patching; Mobilization... The USDA Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to perform the replacement of HVAC units and all associated work, including but not limited to: Cutting and Patching; Mobilization; Demolition; 10-ton AHU-1, AHU-3 and AHU-4 Replacement; 5-ton AHU-2 Replacement; 3-ton AHU-5 Replacement; 3-ton IT Room Unit replacement; 4-ton HP with four indoor unit addition for Conference room; 1.5-ton HP with two indoor unit addition; Electrical; and Snow Guards. The project is located at the Detroit Ranger District Office, Willamette National Forest (Marion County, Oregon). The selection process, and evaluation criteria to be addressed, will be outlined in the forthcoming solicitation. The Government intends to award without discussions, however reserves the right to conduct discussion should it be deemed in the Government's best interest. One Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract will be awarded. The contract period of performance will be approximately 45 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, estimated for 06/21/2021, with all work to be completed no later than 09/30/2021. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,00. All offerors will be required to provide a Bid Bond (20%) with their proposal submission. Performance and Payment Bonds (100% each) will be required of the successful awardee. The solicitation will be available for download exclusively via https://beta.sam.gov on or about 04/30/2021. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Note: Per FAR 52.204-7(b)(1), System for Award Management (SAM), an Offeror is required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment for any contract resulting from this solicitation.
