Due date extended to 05/24/2021 by 12:00pm (Pacific Time) ON 04/30/2021, AMENDMENT ONE IS ISSUED The USDA Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the following: The purpose of this contract is to demolish and install electric components at Multnomah Falls Lodge. The work will include replacing all electric panels, installation of ATS, emergency shut-off switch and strobe; installation of new distribution panels, main switch board, panelboard T, lighting, and other electrical equipment to make the electrical improvements complete. There is site work included with the installation of the main switch board and ATS. This project is in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Bridal Veil, OR.,located approximately 33 miles east of Portland, OR on Highway I-84. The anticipated start work date is October 2021. The Government’s estimated magnitude of this project (Base and Optional Items) is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A site visit is scheduled for 04/28/2021 at 10:00am (Pacific Time) at the Multnomah Falls Lodge. A pre-bid proposal conference call is scheduled for 05/04/2021 at 10:00am (Pacific Time). NOTE: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base when submitting an offer, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of a contract resulting from this solicitation. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system. If at the time of receipt of offers, an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
