AMENDMENT TWO POSTED ON 08/27/2021 AMENDMENT ONE POSTED ON 08/18/2021 SOLICITATION POSTED ON 08/07/2021 The USDA Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the following: The work involves upgrading the wastewater treatment plant to increase efficiency. Work includes modifying of the raw sewage pipeline at the treatment plant to combine the two 1 1/4” return activated sludge lines to a common injection point and reroute the raw sewage line, installing redwood 4x4 timber to the four structural components on the existing secondary clarifier mechanism. There are four sections of structural angle and installing a new baffled manhole on the existing effluent pipeline, including transfer pump, effluent piping, electrical conduit, and piping to the effluent cartridge filters. This project is in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Multnomah Falls, OR. The project is located approximately 33 miles east of Portland, OR on Highway I-84. The Multnomah Falls Lodge address is 50000 Historic Columbia River Highway, Bridal Veil, OR 97010 The anticipated start work date is December 6, 2021. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the Government’s estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 The solicitation will be available for download exclusively via https://beta.sam.gov on or about 08/06/2021. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. NOTE: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base when submitting an offer, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of a contract resulting from this solicitation. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system. If at the time of receipt of offers, an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
