The Fremont-Winema National Forest intends to acquire by contract the removal and disposal of existing comfort stations, including designated site improvements, excavation and backfill, asphalt placement, and foundation preparation for new pre-cast concrete vault comfort stations. The pre-cast comfort stations will be provided through another contract. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, supervision, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), incidentals, and perform all work necessary to conduct stand examinations in compliance with terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation. All work for this project is within the Lakeview Ranger District, the Klamath Ranger District and the Chiloquin Ranger District of the Fremont-Winema National Forest. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 238910- Site Preparation Contractors. The corresponding size standard is $16.5 million. Offerors will be evaluated on technical capability (experience), past performance, capacity to accomplish work on time and price. The Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. The Government total estimated value is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. A solicitation for this project will be posted to this website on or around August 31, 2021 with offers due around September 14, 2021.
