The USDA Forest Service, Siuslaw National Forest, intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the following: Construction of new garage/workshop/employee operations pole building, with utilities, at the Sand Lake Recreation Area (SLRA). The SLRA is located along Oregon’s north coast, 15 miles southwest of Tillamook, between Cape Lookout and Cape Kiwanda. The project is located at the gated work center just to the south of the West Winds parking lot. The physical address of the SLRA is 7000 Galloway Rd., Cloverdale, OR 97112. The magnitude of this construction project (Base and Optional Item) is between $100,000 and $250,000. A Bid Bond (20%) will be required of Offerors whose total price offer exceeds $150,000. Payment Bond (100%) will be required of awardee for an award between $35,000 and $150,000. Payment and Performance Bonds (100% each) will be required of awardee for an award greater than $150,000. The solicitation will be available for download exclusively via https://beta.sam.gov on or about 04/02/2021. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Note: Per FAR 52.204-7(b)(1), System for Award Management (SAM), an Offeror is required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment for any contract resulting from this solicitation.
