The USDA Forest Service, Rogue River Siskiyou National Forest, intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the following two roof replacement projects: Item 1 – Gold Beach Residence #1007: The project includes all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and incidentals necessary for the replacement a wood shingled roof. The building is located at the Gold Beach Ranger Station (Gold Beach, Curry County, Oregon). Work includes but is not limited to removal of cedar shingle roofing and flashing, replacement of deteriorated roof sheathing, and installation of new cedar shingles roofing materials and flashing. Item 2 – Prospect Building #2007: The project includes all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and incidentals necessary for the replacement of roofing materials for the Main Office Building (#2007) at the Prospect Ranger Station (Prospect, Jackson County, Oregon). Work includes but is not limited to removal and disposal of asphalt roofing and flashing, replacement of plywood roof sheathing as necessary, replacement and/or salvaging and reinstallment of roof vents, and installation of new asphalt roofing materials and metal flashing. Up to two (2) Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contracts will be awarded. The contract period of performance will not exceed September 15, 2021. The combined magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A Payment Bond (100%) will be required of awardee(s) for awards greater than $35,000. The solicitation will be available for download exclusively via https://beta.sam.gov on or about 03/08/2021. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Note: Offerors shall have and maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for a Government contract award. Information on registration may be obtained via: https://www.sam.gov. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
