This solicitation was advertised earlier as 1240BF21Q0034 for 17 days and is revised to change some of the requirements. The USDA Forest Service, Chugach National Forest, intends to contract for Janitorial Services for the Begich Boggs Visitor Center (BBVC) located on the Glacier Ranger District (GRD). Due to the current COVID-19 situation, seasonal staff who would normally conduct this work are limited for the foreseeable future. To meet the possible demands of tourism, this contract scales from weekly Basic Janitorial Services in the Base Item up to seven (7) day a week cleaning for the majority of the facility’s footprint if Option Item 0002 is funded and exercised. The Forest Service does not guarantee either of the Option Items will be awarded. The services required will help to ensure proper safeguarding practices are maintained to continue offering clean office space for essential Forest Service staff and mitigate risk for the public and Forest Service employees. A COVID-19 outbreak event is not covered by this contract nor the intent of the mitigation services. The contractor must adhere to all CDC, EPA, NPIC, or other applicable protocols and guidance.
