The Government intends to purchase three(3) Can-Am brand name only ATV's with trade-in and shipping to Sitka, Alaska. Brand Name only justification: Sitka, Alaska currently does not have any vendors that services ATVs. The Government already has Can-Am products at this remote location which is accesible only by ferry or airplane. Buying additional Can-Am products allows for the servicing costs to be reduced by only needing one vendor to travel to service our products and minimizes lost field time during our short weather window for field work.
