Southern Research Station Forest Inventory and Analysis Headquarters Rental
The U.S. Forest Service requires an 11,200 sq ft full-service office and operational space at the University of Tennessee Research Park at Cherokee Farm in Knoxville, TN. The facility will support about 64 personnel from multiple agencies and must include workstations, private offices, conference/collaboration rooms, fleet vehicle and boat storage, shower facilities, and secure IT infrastructure. It must be located within 0.5 miles of the UT campus bus line and within 1 mile of the UT Institute of Agriculture. The government intends to restrict competition, with the University of Tennessee Research Foundation as the incumbent, and a maximum three-year rental contract is planned as a short-term solution.
