Sources Sought Notice: Northeast Guard School Facility and Food Services Synopsis: This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by USDA-FS for market research purposes only, pursuant to FAR Part 10. This is not a solicitation Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The purpose of this notice is to identify capable sources and gather information on the availability, cost, and capabilities of facilities to support the Northeast Guard School, including housing, classroom space, and meal services for students. Description: The USDA-FS is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing a facility to support the Northeast Guard School. The facility must meet the following requirements: 1. Housing: Accommodate 80-90 students with residential quarters (e.g., dormitory-style rooms or equivalent) that comply with safety, accessibility, and habitability standards (e.g., fire codes, ADA compliance). 2. Classroom Space: Provide classroom facilities suitable for 80-90 students, equipped with necessary infrastructure (e.g., desks, whiteboards, audiovisual equipment) to support educational activities. 3. Food Services: Capability to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 100+ students daily, in compliance with USDA National School Lunch and Breakfast Program standards (e.g., Dietary Guidelines for Americans) and applicable federal, state, and local health and safety regulations. - Must include kitchen and dining facilities to support meal preparation and service. - Meals must accommodate dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, allergen-free options). 4. Location: Must be within 45 minutes travel time from La Grande, OR to support accessibility for students and staff. Requested Information: Interested vendors are requested to submit a response (not to exceed 5 pages) including: 1. Company Overview: Brief description of your organization, including size, business status (e.g., small business, 8(a), SDVOSB), and experience providing similar facilities or services. 2. Facility Capabilities: Describe available facilities that meet the housing, classroom, and food service requirements outlined above. Include details on capacity, location, infrastructure, and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., USDA, ADA, fire safety). 3. Food Service Details: Describe experience providing meal services for 100+ individuals daily, including compliance with USDA standards, sample menus, and staffing plans. 4. Availability and Timeline: Confirm ability to provide the facility and services by June 16th – June 20th, 2025, and any constraints on availability.
