This is a synopsis for archaeological services in support of the Malheur National Forest, John Day, Oregon. In the period July 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025 the Contractor will conduct cultural resource subsurface testing within approximately 2 acres within the MNF in support of Forest Service vegetation management, including the replacement of the Big Creek bridge and the realignment of Forest Service Road 4560 to facilitate haul related to commercial vegetation removal.
