It is acce... The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services for prescribed fire road preparation. Equipment must be able to cut, pile, jackpot and windrow brush and trees, and open closed roads. It is acceptable to use multiple pieces of equipment if needed. Only tracked type machinery will be considered, such as excavator with cutting head and hydraulic fingers or tracked feller buncher type of equipment. In addition to a cutting head it will also be necessary to have a bucket with hydraulic thumb and a front attached blade for opening roads. Award of Optional Items will be contingent on availability of funds. The Period of Performance (POP) for the Base Award Item of this Combined Solicitation and Synopsis, is from the date of award through October 31, 2024. If/when Optional Items are awarded the Period of Performance (POP) could be extended to November 30, 2027.
