This solicitation will result in a single award requirements performance-based service contract spanning 5 years. The best estimated quantity is shown in the Schedule of Items, though the Government cannot predetermine the precise quantities that will be ordered during the contract period. Task Orders will be completed and issued with Actual Quantities throughout the period. All task orders are subject to the terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of conflict between a task order and this contract, the contract shall take precedence. Award of Task Order #1 will occur concurrently with award of the contract. The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services for performing a Terrestrial Ecological Unit Inventory (TEUI), (similar in intensity to Order 3 to Order 4 soil surveys), an integrated, multi-resource inventory of soil, landform, vegetation, and lithology, on lands within administrative boundaries of the Malheur Soil Survey Area. This solicitation includes the correlation and management of spatial and attributes data for previous TEUI on the Malheur National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation/travel, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished) and incidentals required to complete the project.
