AMENDMENT 1 - This solicitation has been amended as of 5/24/2021 with new due date for quotes: 05/27/2021 1400 (PT). Attached is a Q & A as well as requested wage determinations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. The Enterprise Program would like to request a contract for an 24/7 live answering service in support of Enterprise Field activities which include field project work and meetings, and trainings. Currently, the Enterprise Program has about 350 employees; of these, there are about 150 field-going employees that would be frequently using this service nationwide; however, it would be available for all Enterprise employees. 1. Live answering service will provide a telephone number for individual or crew to call/text and check-in and check-out. 2. Contractor will record the following information: individual or crew calling, work status, working alone? Crew leader, location (start and evening destination), vehicle number, supervisor or Alternate Supervisor, return time and date or other notes/comments. 3. Forest Service will designate a time for contractor to make sure that all individuals or crew members have checked in. It is the employee’s responsibility to update their status with the answering service if the location or other information has changed. 4. Contractor will alert designated contacts (Supervisors/Line Staff Officers etc.) if employee(s) have failed to check-in. 5. 24 hours per day, 365 days a year availability is required with daily( morning and evening) review of employees that have not “checked in” by their designated time. IMPORTANT: Please review the section regarding the wage determination process when location of performance is unknown.
