This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and/or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is 1240BD25Q0048 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to establish a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. Description of Requirement: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and services necessary to provide field mowing services as described in the Performance Work Statement (Attachment 1). Approximately 197 acres will need to be mowed. Seed orchards have been cleared of older trees and most movable rock. There are stumps present from past thinning of planted seed orchard trees. It is recommended that potential quoters view the seed orchards prior to submitting quotes. Place of Performance: The work shall be performed within the Colville National Forest, Mason County, Washington Period of Performance (POP): The period of performance shall be for 1 Base year of 12-months and 2 Option years of 12- months each. If awarded in time, services may begin promptly after award, around mid July.
