Description of Requirements: The Cowlitz Valley Ranger District (CVRD) Gifford Pinchot National Forest (GPNF) has a requirement to purchase a gas or diesel powered stationary sawmill meeting the salient characteristics described below. Description and Specifications: The contractor shall provide one (1) stationary sawmill meeting the following salient characteristics: 1. Must be able to cut logs up to 33” in diameter and 17’ in length. 2. Must be able to mill logs into boards that are 28” wide. 3. Must have a sawmill blade powered by gas or diesel engine. 4.
