Description This contract requires quotes from professional geotechnical drilling firms to perform comprehensive and safe geotechnical drilling services for the US Forest Service. The contractor shall provide qualified labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, drill rig, hoses, pumps and any necessary equipment and supplies to perform core drilling, hollow stem auguring, and Standard Penetration Testing. Drilling services are to include all mobilization, moving, setting up, traffic control for the immediate work site (typically warning signs and cones) loading, providing samples and core for logging at the site by the Forest Service, and providing cardboard containers for core and auger samples. Location The Lake Branch Hood River Bridge site is located on Forest Service Road (FSR) 13 at MP 10.8 (Lat 45.497958° Long. -121.830905°– via Google Earth). From Hood River, OR travel on OR-281S for approx. 10.5 miles. Turn slight right on Lost Lake Road for 0.2 miles, then turn left to stay on Lost Lake Road for approx. 13.4 miles. Turn right onto FS Road 13 and travel approx. 1 mile to the project site. This is a Firm Fixed-priced contract. DO NOT PROVIDE THE COMPANY’S DUNS NUMBER.
