Scope of Work The purpose and intent of this solicitation is to secure trail maintenance services for Non-Wilderness and Wilderness trails. This project will maintain existing trails. Trails to be brushed are generally located in old growth forests. Brush varies by trail but typically includes huckleberry, salmonberry, small trees and branches, and herbaceous vegetation. This work will include: Wilderness Brushing = 10.5 Acres; Non-Wilderness Brushing = 2 Acres; and Wilderness Logging Out = 9.4 Acres Project Maps Refer to Attachment 1 Estimated Start / Finish Dates Work can expect to start as soon as the snow melts. All trails can expect to be snow free between July 1 and August 1. All work is to be completed by November 1, 2021. Technical Specifications Specification Section 912 (912.20 Brush Cutting, 912.30 Logging Out, and 912.60 Rock and Root Removal) applies to this contract and it will serve as the acceptability standards for completed work.
