This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, CQI Research Unit in New Orleans requires one (1) ball burst compression fixture for an existing Instron frame. In accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 5 and 12, this Request for Quotes (RFQ), number 12405B25Q0118, is available through electronic commerce via the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. This RFQ is being issued under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334516 – Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The applicable small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The resulting purchase order will be a firm-fixed price type with delivery no later than sixty (60) calendar days after the date of the contract award. All deliveries shall be made FOB Destination to the location specified in the contract. The resulting award will include one (1) line item as listed below: Line Item 0001 – Ball Burst Fixture (Model: Instron 2810-195)- Brand Name or Equal, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Each This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03 dated January 17, 2025 (Attachment 1). Vendors are required to be active and registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov when submitting a quote and at time of award (FAR 52.204-7(b)(1).
