The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory, Fort Pierce, FL., has a requirement to perform multi-task related to painting of the main building eves, greenhouse covered walkways, exposed I beams, and install gutters and downspouts located at 2001 South Rock Road, Ft. Pierce, FL. 34945. The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, professional services, and supervision necessary to perform multi-task related to painting of the main building eves, greenhouse covered walkways, exposed I beams, and install gutters and downspouts as per the Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and cost breakdown for the entire project. The solicitation number is 12405B24R0018 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov. If you are already registered and your registration has expired, you will need to go the SAM website and update your information. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about July 25, 2024. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
