THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Southeast Area has a construction requirement for removal and replacement of the walk-in seed cooler located at the Crop Genetics and Breeding Research Center in Tifton, GA. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Pursuant to FAR Part 13, Request for Quotation (RFQ) may be issued on or around August 15, 2024; quotes will be due on or around September 5, 2024. It is anticipated the requirement will be 100% Total Set-Aside for small business under the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors with a small business standard of $19.0 million. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of a quote.
