The contract is anticipated to be awarded in September 2024. All dates are tentative and for planning purposes only. The resulting contract shall be a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The solicitation shall be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). Project Information PROJECT TITLE: Repave Road PROJECT LOCATION: Athens, GA NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM CODE: (NAICS): 237310 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $45M The anticipated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service area office in Dawson, GA has a requirement for repaving existing road and parking lot. General Scope (further details will be made available with the RFQ)- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control to repair and pave the entire drive line around the production area (Approx. 1000 ft) 1192 S.Y. The contractor shall install 4” GAB and pave area with 2” of 9.5mm surface coarse. The work includes repair and patch areas damaged by trees and roots. The contractor shall remove existing rocks, debris, and spoils to patch areas with 9.5mm surface coarse. The contractor shall apply tack coat, pave drive with .5” of OGI crack inhibiting leveling coarse and top with 1” of 9.5mm surface coarse.
