This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Please do not email requesting additional information until after the posting of the solicitation notice. General Information The solicitation is anticipated to be issued in or around August 1, 2024. The contract is anticipated to be awarded in September 2024. All dates are tentative and for planning purposes only. The resulting contract shall be a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The solicitation shall be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/. Project Information PROJECT TITLE: Bldg. 1 Room Renovations PROJECT LOCATION: Florence, SC NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM CODE: (NAICS): 236220 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $45M The anticipated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service area office in Florence, SC has a requirement for various facility renovations. General Scope (further details will be made available with the RFQ)- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control to complete various facility renovations, specifically, updates in the lunchroom, conference room, and two (2) offices. The work includes but is not limited to door replacements, painting, flooring, minor electrical, sink, faucet, base cabinets, and exterior door weatherstripping. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment to repaint 34 interior metal door frames, 2 metal, and replace 20 interior wood doors throughout Building 1. The contractor shall install a new floor system and base trim in the conference room, lunchroom, and both offices. The contractor shall install a new sink, faucet, and base cabinets in the lunchroom along with painting all walls, conduits, doors, and frames.
