The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Center for Medical, Agricultural and Veterinary Entomology located in Gainesville, FL., has a requirement to remove and dispose of the existing roofing system to the deck and provide a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roofing system on Buildings 3, 12, and 13. The work includes but is not limited to: The Contractor will provide all materials, labor, supervision and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of the existing roofing system to the deck and provide a new roofing system as per the Statement of Work. The solicitation number is 12405B23R0032 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFP). The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov. If you are already registered and your registration has expired, you will need to go the SAM website and update your information. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about August 03, 2023. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
