The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center located at Stoneville, MS., has a requirement to Furnish and Install new Steel Canopy, pour concrete column pad footings, relocate existing exterior light, relocate existing lightening protection cable, relocate existing gutters and downspouts. This project is on the East Side of Bldg. #21 at USDA Cotton Ginning Laboratory, located at 111 Experiment Station Road in Stoneville, MS. The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall provide all designs, materials, labor, and equipment to: Install new free-standing steel shed extension on existing cotton gin. Contractor shall provide a MS stamped and sealed design, install footings, structural steel, sway bracing, roofing, and skirt walls per approved design. Contractor will re-locate ½” diameter existing lightening protection ground cable (Cad weld), relocate existing gutter and to include (3) existing downspouts and splash pads, and re-locate (1) security light. Conceptual Drawing shown below. Contractor is responsible for submitting Detailed Engineering Stamped Shop Drawings for the Canopy for approval by USDA EPM. This project is on the East Side of Bldg. #21 at USDA Cotton Ginning Laboratory, located at 111 Experiment Station Road in Stoneville, MS. The solicitation number is 12405B23R0014 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFP). The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at: www.san.gov .
