The USDA ARS requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided to replace windows for Bldg. 1, 2, and 3 per the attached Statement of Work (SOW). A site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 9:00AM EST at 2611 W Lucas Street, Florence, SC 29501. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Coastal Plains Soil, Water, and Plant Research Center at the Florence, SC location has a requirement for window replacement for Bldg. 1, 2, and 3. The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the services to be performed in strict accordance as described in attached Statement of Work (SOW). Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment in order to perform the following window replacement for U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Coastal Plains Soil, Water, and Plant Research Center (CPSWPRC), 2611 West Lucas Street, Florence, SC 29501. USDA/ARS/SEA intends to issue a firm fixed price construction purchase order. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238350 Finish Carpentry Contractors with a size standard of $19.0M. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or around July 20, 2023. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of the project is estimated to beetween $100,000 and $250,000. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions during the site visit. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFQ package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed, and telephone requests will not be honored. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Quotation (RFQ). This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for bid/quotation preparation costs.
