The USDA, ARS in Auburn, AL is looking for the following service. ARS houses multiple moronid genome sequencing datasets, including those from white bass, striped bass, and their hybrid. These genome sequencing efforts will be provided to the service provider. The service provider will utilize these resources to generate a list of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) using their in-house bioinformatics pipeline in consultation with the ARS. In collaboration with the ARS, SNPs will be assessed for quality control (QC) and a curated list of SNPs will be finalized for production of the microarray. The service provider will manufacture 5 arrays in a Custom Axiom 96-format for the analysis of 480 samples. ARS will provide samples to the service provider. The service provider will QC samples and genotype samples in-house on a GeneTitan instrument. The service provider will then deliver data to ARS and provide software (Axiom Analysis Suite), as well as bioinformatics and field applications support, to generate final QTL data.
