General Information The solicitation is anticipated to be issued in or around 17 April 2023. The contract is anticipated to be awarded in June 2023. Project Information PROJECT TITLE: Replace 60 Ton Air-Cooled Chiller PROJECT LOCATION: Raleigh, NC NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM CODE: (NAICS): 238220 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $16.5M The anticipated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Plant Science Facility in Raleigh, NC has a requirement for replacement of an existing 60-ton air-cooled chiller. General Scope (further details will be made available with the RFQ)- The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to properly remove and dispose of the existing air-cooled chiller from site grounds. The contractor shall disconnect and remove, to include rigging and crane, the existing air-cooled chiller and all associated components required for the installation of the new chiller system. The contractor shall drain and properly dispose of all ozone depleting substances in the unit. Once the existing chiller is disposed, the contractor shall install a new properly sized air-cooled chiller (approx. 60 Ton, Trane CGAM or equal). The new chiller must have factory trained and certified support technician and parts available within a 50-mile radius of the installation site. Minimum 1 year warranty on parts to include compressors and use low ozone depleting refrigerant.
