The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Crop Genetics and Breeding Research facility located in Tifton, GA., has a requirement (Subject to the Availability of Funds) to remove and replace glass exterior panels and interior dividing walls with polycarbonate siding on 7 bays of the greenhouse, replace cooling cells in all bays. Remove cool cell water supply from wells and attach it to Bldg3 water supply, replace controls for 7 bays in the Greenhouse and the overhead vent motors. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work in strict accordance with these Statement of Work/Specifications for the Greenhouse Remodel, Bldg. 3 Project, located at 109 Bermuda Dr., Tifton, GA. 31793. The solicitation number is 12405B22R0017 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. The work includes but is not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work in strict accordance with these Statement of work/Specifications for the Greenhouse Remodel Bldg. 3, at the USDA-ARS-SEA, Crop Genetics and Breeding Research facility located in Tifton, GA.. All work shall be performed in accordance with the SOW, terms, conditions, drawings, and specifications. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov.
