AMENDMENT 02 Is being issued to answer questions and extend the Offer Due Date. AMENDMENT 01 HAS BEEN ISSUED TO REVISE THE SITE VISIT DAY AND TIME. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for construction services. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Horticultural lab located in Fort Pierce, has a requirement to Replace (2) Air Handling Units, Units #9 and Unit #10, subject to the availability of funds. The work includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies, necessary to Replace (2) Air Handling Units, Unit #9 and Unit #10. The solicitation number is 12405B22R0014 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 238220 with a size standard of $16.5M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. The work includes but is not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work in strict accordance with these Statement of work/Specifications for the Replace (2) Air Handling Units, Unit #9 and Unit #10, at the USDA-ARS-SEA, Horticultural Lab located at Fort Pierce, FL. All work shall be performed in accordance with the SOW, terms, conditions, drawings, and specifications. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov. If you are already registered and your registration has expired, you will need to go the SAM website and update your information.
