The USDA ARS requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided to install a new roof to current code requirements on Buildings - B57, B38, B35, B23, & B14 at the USDA, ARS, Subtropical Horticulture Research Center, 13601 Old Cutler Road, Miami, Florida 33158. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawings, and specifications contained in the solicitation documents. A single organized site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 2:00 PM EST. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Subtropical Horticulture Research Center in Miami, Florida has a requirement for a roof project to include: All professional services necessary to supply and install a new roof to current code requirements on Buildings - B57, B38, B35, B23, & B14 at the USDA, ARS, Subtropical Horticulture Research Center, 13601 Old Cutler Road, Miami, Florida 33158. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Quote for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238160 with a size standard of $16.50 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Quotes (RFQ). The Government anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement around July 25, 2022. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
