Preparation for this work will involve dialog with site personnel to determine the specific requirements. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawings, and specifications contained in the solicitation documents. A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 9:30 a. m. at SNARC in the Large Conference Room located at 2955 Highway 130 E, Stuttgart, AR 72160. USDA/ARS/SEA intends to issue a firm fixed price construction purchase order. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236210 Industrial Building Construction with a size standard of $39.5M. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or around July 25, 2022. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of the project is estimated to beetween $25,000 and $100,000. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions during site visit. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFQ package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed, and telephone requests will not be honored.This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Quotation (RFQ). This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for bid/quotation preparation costs.
