QUOTE DUE DATE EXTENDED TO JUNE 6, 2022 not later than 2:00p.m. CST. This Solicitation is a Request for Quote, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order. The USDA ARS requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided to replace fifteen hydronic unit heaters, install twelve horizontal airflow fans, and install/modify three intake louvers, and replace three doors throughout three greenhouses and one headhouse at the USDA, ARS, Plant Science Facility, Raleigh, North Carolina. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawings, and specifications contained in the solicitation documents. A single organized site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, 5/17/2022 at 10am EST. Address: 3127 Ligon Street, Raleigh, NC. Quote must be emailed to: Shalunda Mix, Contract Specialist USDA ARS SEA AAO shalunda.mix@usda.gov QUOTE MUST BE ANNOTATED AS SUCH AND REFERENCE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER. Please include a detailed breakdown of price with various cost elements (e.g. materials, sub-costs, controllers, etc.). Additional quote instructions can be found in Section L. SIZE OF PROJECT: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated price range is Between $100,000 and $250,000. All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit, must be submitted to shalunda.mix@usda.gov by 2:00p.m. CST, Thursday, May 19, 2022. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by May 19, 2022, may not receive a response. Questions/answers discussed at the site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment.
