This Solicitation is a Request for Quote, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order. The USDA ARS has a requirement to repair and reinstall signage at the entrance near Bldg. 1. Provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to repair and reinstall existing sign to include the following: Remove old vinyl & Replace with New vinyl graphics, replace center square aluminum pipe with equivalent sized steel pipe, straighten & repaint 3 panels, welding of broken braces inside sign, reapply vinyl wordage (see below) and reinstall sign. Participants will meet at: USDA ARS JWDSRC 141 Experiment Station Road Stoneville, MS 38776 For the site visit, we ask the following: The names of any visitors, and whether or not they are US citizens (if not, they should bring a passport) We ask that they respond to the employee/visitor COVID site entry checklist (included as a separate attachment to the solicitation. All visitors must wear a mask at all times indoors, or outdoors when within 6 feet of any other person. Quote must be received not later than 4:00 p.m. Central Time Friday, February 11, 2022. Quote must be in writing and emailed to: Jessica Pacheco, Contract Specialist USDA ARS SEA AAO jessica.pacheco@usda.gov Please include a detailed breakdown of price with various cost elements (e.g. materials, sub-costs, controllers, etc.) Additional quote instructions can be found in Section L. All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit, must be submitted to jessica.pacheco@usda.gov by Thursday, February 8, 2022. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by February 8, 2022 may not receive a response. Questions/answers discussed at the site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment.
