This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. The USDA/ARS/SEA, Aquatic Animal Health Research Unit, Auburn, AL location is seeking contractor to provide: FY2022 Preventative Maintenance contract for (1) Steris Amsco Century G-120 Gravity Steam Sterilizer and (1) Steris Power Pack Electric Steam Boiler. Work should be peformed in accordance with attached Statement of Work (SOW). Period of Performance Dates: 11/15/2021-11/14/2022. In order to be considered for award Offerors shall provide: 1) Quote on company letterhead detailing the item description, unit price per item, total price and valid for at least 60 days after receipt of quote, 2) Completion of SF- 18 Request for Quotation with signature, and 3) FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifcations - Commercial Items; The representation and certification section must by completed electronically at the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.beta.sam.gov. Failure to demonstrate compliance will be cause to reject the quote without further discussions. Any quotes not meeting the minimum specifications will not be considered. All responsible sources may submit an offer and will be considered. Contractors responding to this announcement shall submit their quotation in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item, the significant evaluation factors, in the relative order of importance, are (i) Price with sufficient itemization to demonstrate understandidng of the requirement; and (ii) Evidence of Technical Capability to provide required service; and (iii) Past Performance information that includes full description of previous work, job location, and full reference contact information.
