This is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) ), located in Tifton, GA., has a requirement to remove and replace existing Hydrotherm KN-10 cast iron natural gas-fired condensing hot water boiler with one of like capacity in Bldg 3. The solicitation number is 12405B21R0048 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 238220 with a size standard of $16.5M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. The work includes but is not limited to: Contractor shall provide pricing to remove and replace existing Hydrotherm KN-10 cast iron natural gas-fired condensing hot water boiler with one of like capacity in Bldg 3. All unions/fitting connected directly to the boiler must be replaced. Removed boiler shall be properly disposed of by the contractor. Photos of the nameplate and existing unit are in the appendix at the end of the SOW.
